German Language Classes for Children and Youths (Old)

Classes in Rosenberg take place at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1513 West Street, Rosenberg, TX  77471, and in The Woodlands at Spirit of Joy! Lutheran Church, 7550 Crownridge Drive, The Woodlands, TX  77382.

Materials for the children’s classes will be made available, but remain the property of GIS.
Our students often have different levels of experience in the German language.  In order for proper placement of each student, we determine the level of proficiency during a special testing day or on the first day of a course, and form the classes accordingly.

Returning students receive a discount of ten percent, and there is an early bird discount for each session (see below). We reserve the right to cancel a course that does not have the requisite number of students enrolled.

We invite you and your children to participate in this exciting German language project.  We will present selected fairy tales for reading, listening, writing, singing and playing to all children, whether they are native speakers or speak no German.

Our teachers are trained to work with children, and all have degrees and experience in teaching children.  The classes will be formed in groups according to age and German proficiency.

We are looking forward to bring German to your children during our fairy tale program.  The classes will be held at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1513 West Street, Rosenberg, TX  77471.
