July is sizzling hot for German studies at the German Institute for the Southwest – we are offering five new online classes this month: a conversation/literature class for adults, a fairy tale class for our little beginners of German, a story time class for native and advanced German-speaking kids, and two classes for young persons, one for beginners, and one for advanced speakers. Enroll now, classes start on July 6, 2020.
- Literatur des Vormaerz – Literature of the Age of Metternich – conversation/literature class for advanced German speakers – B2/C1 level – 4 week class
- A Stroll into Fairy Land – fairy tales for young children (5-8 years of age) – no prior knowledge of German required – 4 week class
- Heldenmut und Götterwut – The Courage of Heroes and the Rage of Gods – course for children with knowledge of German (6-8 years of age) – 5 week course
- “Alle unter einem DACHL” – a trip through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein – beginning German for young persons (9-16 years of age) – no prior knowledge of German required – 5 week course
- Die Deutsche Märchenstrasse – a Journey through the Life and Works of the Brothers Grimm – German course for young people (9-16 years of age) with knowledge of German – 5 week course
